What is the Health Project?
Your Health Project is the combination of all activities done by our team in close collaboration with you and your family to reach our common goals. The length, pricing, and specifics of it vary depending on your health, wellness, emotional, and personal care needs. We complement your current course of treatment by helping you gain control of your health and achieve that balance you’re looking for.
What medical conditions can you help me with? How do I know if I am the right candidate?
We focus on helping people with conditions such as: epilepsy, chronic pain, cancer, stress, migraine, sleep disorders, depression, inflammatory conditions, trauma, PMS, MS, Huntington’s, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD, grief, glaucoma, among others. Just in case I am not a candidate for treatment with you, is there an alternative to have access to medical cannabis products?
After your first appointment, our interdisciplinary team evaluates your current condition, your health objectives, and determines if medical cannabis supplements can complement or assist you. Unfortunately, at this time it is not possible to obtain cannabis derived products without the professional recommendation of our interdisciplinary team.
Is it necessary to make an appointment at Sativa Care?
Yes. You are always welcome to come in and learn about us, but due to the nature of our attention it is necessary for us to schedule a first appointment so our team can get familiar with your case. You can start the process HERE.
What products do you offer?
We offer the following medical cannabis supplements: Sativa Care Oil (coming soon), Sativa Care Cream (coming soon), Sativa Care Caps (coming soon), Sativa Care Extract (coming soon). We also collaborate with leading national companies to offer the best medical cannabis products to our patients.
How can I schedule an appointment with you?
Our process is very simple. Anywhere on our website (including this page), you can click on “START YOUR PRE-ADMISSION QUESTIONNAIRE“. All we need is for you to fill out that form and a member of our team will get in contact with you within 24 hours.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Your first appointment is critical, because we will work together on your health objectives, as well as our personalized offer tailored to your needs. That is why we need you to gather all your medical records, prescriptions, lab work, and any other information you think it’s important. You first appointment lasts about 2 hours, so it is also important for you to show up in comfortable clothing.
What are your payment methods?
We take cash, all major credit and debit cards, as well as wire transfers.
Are you taking any insurance plans?
We do not have that option at the moment.
Do I have to make an appointment if I just want to learn more about you?
There are different ways you can learn more about us. You can find up to date information throughout this website. You can also reach us at hola@sativacare.mx anytime. You can even come in and say hi Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, so we can answer any and all questions you might have.
Does the use of medical cannabis products substitute my current course of treatment?
No. It is very important for you to talk to us so we can walk you through the ways a medical cannabis supplement can help you. You should know any supplement and its effect depends upon your physical, social, and emotional needs, your objectives, as well as other environmental factors.
How much does the Health Project cost? How long is it?
The cost and duration of your Health Project are different for each person, due to the fact that it relies on your needs and objectives, which are defined by our interdisciplinary team with your help during your first appointment.
Can you ensure access to your location for people with disabilities and/or senior citizens?
Of course. Sativa Care is prepared to receive people with disabilities and senior citizens. We encourage you to contact us if you have any specific requirements so we can help you to the best of our abilities.
Can I become addicted to medical cannabis products?
Every supplement we recommend contains less than 1% THC per weight, consistent with current Mexican regulation regarding the use of medical cannabis. This same requirement reduces the psychoactivity of the cannabis plant significantly, and is thought to be very safe by international medical cannabis standards.
Do you have cannabis plants for sale?
No.
What is the current legal status of the cannabis plant in Mexico?
The cannabis plant is authorized by the Mexican government to be used therapeutically, with certain restrictions. We invite you to read the most up to date official regulation standards at the following COFEPRIS website, which regulates medical cannabis products in our country.
Where do the products you recommend come from?
All products we recommend come from the United States of America, due to quality standards and because of the well established medical cannabis industry and its trustworthiness. They are 100% natural, with no heavy metals, no pesticides, no additives, and no added ingredients.
If I get drug tested at work, is there a chance it will show up positive?
Due to the low THC content in all the products we recommend, it is possible a drug screening test will show traces of THC in a person’s urine, although it is unlikely. We ask you to talk to your HR department and disclose any medical cannabis use to them.
Is there a way for me to order your products online? Do you ship to other parts of the country?
At the moment we do not sell any products to the general public and/or ship to other parts of Mexico.

Are children able to receive help with medical cannabis products?
Absolutely. Our interdisciplinary team is prepared to identify the needs of the youngest members of your family and treat them in a personalized way as well.
Is there a minimum legal age requirement to have access to medical cannabis products?
You can start your Pre-Admission Questionnaire at any time through our website, but if you are underage we ask you that you do so with your legal guardian or a responsible adult present.
How safe is medical cannabis?
All products we recommend are 100% natural, with no preservatives, no pesticides, and no significative side effects.
How much does your First Appointment cost?
During your First Appointment, our interdisciplinary team will evaluate your medical, psychological, nutrition, and personal care needs. It costs $2,500 pesos, and after which we will build together alongside you and your family global health objectives and a Health Project that is designed for you and which adjusts itself in real time to your needs.
Can I use medical cannabis supplements if I am taking other medication?

Can I bring my pet?
At the moment we don’t have Pet Friendly accommodations.
If my patient of family member is unable to come in, are you able to pay him/her a visit to their home?
Our attention is personalized and we respond to the needs of those we care for, but at the moment we don’t have the necessary resources to give medical attention at home. Please talk to us and let us work together on a way to help your patient or family member.
Do I have to be a patient at Sativa Care to attend your workshops?
Our workshops are designed for those people we care for, and their loved ones. At the moment we do not have workshops designed for the general public, but please stay alert about special sessions or talks we might schedule in the near future.
